Shiraz Shariff was elected to his fourth term as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Calgary-McCall on November 22, 2004. In addition to his role as an MLA, Mr. Shariff also serves as Deputy Chair of Committees.

North Shore teen Aliza Virani represented Vancouver in the Miss Teen Canada International competition. Aliza was selected as one of the Top 7 Delegates at the competition.
